Hikari no Matsuri (Winter Festival)

The Festival of Lights will be making a grand return for its fourth year in a row, this December 7th through the 13th, from 7:00 AM to 12:00 Midnight each day! While excitement is high for Viorar's (and arguably one of the Cleft's) favorite events, a word goes out to all potential attendees this year that construction on new attractions is running behind schedule due to family obligations for multiple contractors, and as such, very little about the physical structure will be changing this year. But that's okay! To make up for it, we're offering these excellent new additions and other things to look forward to:

-New items available for exchange through the Jingle Bell reward system,

including powerful supplements and handcrafted lanterns designed by
Viorar's very own Monique!

-New (or at least different) Daily Deal acquisitions!

-A new and extremely-important guest! Be sure to give her your thanks

for the Festival of Lights if it's ever made you smile up to this point
in time!

-Some of our stall attendants will be providing bonuses or discounts to

their attractions or goods on specific days!  Watch the announcements
to find out what's in store on which days!

-The Hot Potato Tournament returns on Thursday, December 10th at

8:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time*!  Our current champion has retained his
throne for two years running; can anyone stand up to him this time?
Be at the Hot Potato game stall at the aforementioned time and find
out!

*Given time is relatively secure, but subject to change; an
 announcement will be made well-ahead of time if such a requirement is
 confirmed.

-The Team Donation event returns with a small expansion! Have any Jingle

Bells you don't need?  Join the Blue, Red, or Silver Team and donate
them to the appropriate Donation Box near the Stage!  All extra Bells
donated in this way will go on to help those that were not fortunate
enough to attend or take much part in the Festival this year*, and as
if that wasn't easy enough on your conscience, the team that donates the
most Jingle Bells at the end of the week will win an awesome prize!

*Extra Jingle Bells will be handed out on a case-by-case basis to those
 who were not able to participate very often during the week of the
 Festival of Lights; exceptions apply and most handouts will be capped
 at 300 Jingle Bells in total per player, distributed among their
 characters as desired.

The aforementioned are merely the highlights! The Festival of Lights obviously offers many other interesting activities and things to discover that aren't mentioned, as some of you may well know. As always, in addition to the timeframe we have scheduled, everyone is welcome to join Lilly for the Opening Ceremony that is to take place on the evening before opening day; this will take place on Sunday, December 6th at 8:00 PM, Eastern Standard Time! Those who attend this pre-admission event will be given a few presents and a free hour of Festival admission before the actual opening on the next morning!
