Demamas was an android, created by an insane engineer to be the man's son. But the defense protocols he programmed into the android had it targeting anyone it met as a threat, eventually even its creator himself when he tried to stop Demamas' homicidal rampage.

The android was locked in the engineer's basement for an indeterminate amount of time. But, once it had learned of the engineers tools, and how to integrate itself with them, it cut its way through the doors and found itself in an entirely new world. At this point it went dormant as it attempted to process all the new information it encountered. It was taken from the ruined house by a common reploid laborer back to his home village, where he and his friend attempted to get Demamas working again.

However, once Demamas reactivated its defense protocols kicked in and the android slaughtered the reploid, his friend, and every other living creature in the village. It then augmented and intigrated itself with what salvageable reploid parts it could find.
