I've been having some exciting times recently, diary. I got to the
city I was talking about last week, it's a great place! Its name is
Truce. I've refilled my water bottles, chatted it up with the locals,
and have had a pretty relaxing time. A lot of weird guys are walking
around Truce; for example, I saw this one boy with a pumpkin for
a head! It's bizarre... if he has a gourd for a head, what's it growing
out of? Does it grow? Maybe it's painted on, or maybe he's just
psychotic... I didn't get too close to him.

Oh yeah, and then there's Tingle. He's a complete lunatic. I
suppose he's suffering from an identity crisis... I'm talking about a
middle-aged man dressed a fairy! Complete with the tights, too.
Worse yet, I have to talk to him, since he owns the map store and I
don't know my way around. Once, I met a guy who said the world
was slanted, and all the nuts rolled to the cities. What's that make
me, anyway?

It's getting late, so I'm checking in to the inn. Goodnight!
