July 24 of the year 322

Undine's Day

Standing alone in the center of the main room at the Maverick HQ, Jedo stands thinking about his power. He hasn't ever actually tested the limits of it, but today is the day he will find out.

He's moved all the rubble into one big pile outside the front door, and is ready to disintegrate it. Standing in the center of the room, facing the direct center of his target which is a good hundred feet away, Jedo begins to charge up his seldom-used buster cannon. After only a couple seconds, the particles that are being absorbed become super-heated and visible to the human eye. Several seconds after that, the particles begin to create fusion and grow in size, still being absorbed by Jedo, and his will to push his limit. More seconds pass by, and Jedo begins to glow red and fade back into his normal color, obviously caused by the immense energy being stored, soon he is flickering red, then white, then his color stays white and he is informed that any further energy could cause him to explode. Gritting his teeth, Jedo releases the energy at the pile of debris, and screams as his entire body is engulfed in searing plasma. As he passes out from the immense heat, he is left standing. . . then floating. . . As his system returns to normal, he awakens and finds himself in the same place he had been; standing inside, directly in line with the pile of rubble. A pinkish haze has filled his vision, not obscuring it, just. . . there. Looking down at his hand and buster, he notices plasma coming off of his body in magnetic waves. . . He's transformed again. But like all evolution, it will take time to completely master his newfound abilities. . . very much time.
