Stalk Part 1
Unknown Location
August 21 of the Year 322
Undine's Day
Golden light filled everything in view, houses, shops, tree's and such. The town was quiet. Quiet in a way that was unnatural.
Basking in the light was a huge oak tree, on either side a dirt road leading to separate parts of
the village. She walked across the town, few people doing anything, most
of them just staring at her, as if they'd never seen a women dressed in such
armor, or clothing. Unblinking, she walked ahead and looked up, the oak
stood proud and tall, from her point of view she could not see the top.
Making a full turn, a spin, she looked around, the people had gone, turning
back to the tree she narrowed her eyebrows and growled. Eyes.......
She pressed her hand against the oak, it was warm, warmer than her soft
pale skin. Ever watchful eyes....
From nowhere an arrow suddenly struck into the tree, quite close to her face. She jumped back and grabbed
the hilt of her sword.
A soothingly calm male voice sounded as she turned around. "Excuse me, darlin'. What business do you have here? So sorry about
that arrow coming so close. Wouldn't want to scratch up that pretty, pretty face."
In her sights was a tall man who appeared as elvish, pointed ears with long silvery hair held back behind them, a strand dangling
in his thin pale face covering one of his crystal blue eyes, a nice build
covered up by a valiant suit of great golden armor, and a well crafted bow with
silver and black arrows on his back.
She did not speak, but gave an irritated look and another low growl. He came nearer and she began to unsheathe her golden blade.
He laughed and stared at her, reaching onto
his back for another arrow, taking his bow out once more. "Do you not
speak? Are you a mute? What business do you have here? Should I force
you to tell me... Well... that's not all I will force on you, dear...."
Her stance suddenly changed into more of a battle position, her eyes
unmoving, her expressionless face unchanging. "My business is my own, I
don't have to tell someone of your status, rank, and stature a thing..."
He snickered and aimed his wielded bow and arrow at her, shaking his head
as the arrow shot forward. Suddenly, the arrow flew to the side and hit
the floor, her blade returning to a ready position, her lunging past him and
knocking him with the hilt in the back of the head, causing him to fly into
the oak. She jumped on him and held her sword to his throat, her face still
the same, still unblinking.
"You should just stop trying to harm me. Or should this oak be carved and set as the damned and condemned headstone of
your filthy grave?"
He squirmed slightly, mumbling to himself. "..... Let me be woman. Be on your way. You may keep to yourself your
secrets...."
She laughed and got up, walking to the right of the
oak down the road, sheathing her blade. All the way, until she was out of
sight, she laughed.
"......... But that doesn't mean i wont be watching you Nina-kun of Focal. Or should I say Nerudy of the high council....."
He grinned as she faded from his sight.
