The Lunar Subterrane is a dangerous area full of the most powerful creatures in the cleft. It is recommended to travel in a group at all times. Shin-Ra and the Repliforce have seen no reason to waste resources traveling to the moon, but those on board the Pioneer 2 seem to have taken an interest in some unusual readings coming from there. Best of luck, explorers...for not even Luigi has fully explored the depths of this mystical place.
