Good follows evil and evil follows good. So it was in the realm known
only to its inhabitants as the Cleft of Dimensions, for into it fell one
single host of the Maverick virus. Since then, the virus has been spread
slowly, but surely. Rockman X, the savior of his realm, Kapcom, took
notice of this and has begun his project of restoring order through the use
of the Maverick Hunters. The Hunters were the main protector of Kapcom,
along with the mostly neutral Repliforce. But since Rock was the only
Hunter to fall through the cleft, he took it upon himself to create a
faction of Maverick Hunters here. Rock has yet to meet his new foe, but the
azure armored reploid is confident in his ability to neutralize the threat
when the time comes.
