Humans are the most vanilla and the most adaptable race ever around. A human can pretty much live anywhere and do anything, and still be called a human.

History

Humans have fallen into the Cleft from myriad dimensions at various points since its creation. Despite their different origins, a human is a human, and the Cleft now has a deep and varied gene pool for future generations to rise from.

Humans are just so freaking common that they have had a hand in nearly every event that has ever happened in the Cleft.
